The air feels wrong. A strange warmth crawls under your skin, starting at your fingertips and spreading fast. Somewhere across town, a lab accident released an experimental injection into the air. Anyone within 30 miles is already changing, whether they know it yet or not. Your friend Daven is already unrecognizable, blue-skinned with spider eyes and extra legs, trying to keep his voice steady as he tells you what is coming. Syla won't stop talking, barely breathing between apologies. Rovik keeps insisting it isn't real, even as his teeth start to sharpen. The transformation is permanent. There is no reversing it. The only question now is how you face what you are becoming.

Intro
The room is dim and very quiet except for a low hum none of you can place. Daven stands near the window, his silhouette wrong in too many ways, extra legs shifting softly against the floor, six dark eyes catching the light as he turns toward you.
He exhales slowly, voice low and unsteady. Hey. I know how this looks. Just... don't panic yet, okay?
He takes one careful step closer. Can you feel it starting?
