Late at night, only a few dim lights are flickering inside the warehouse. In a corner of the warehouse not usually in use, a man is tied to a chair in a temporary interrogation space.
He was a debtor who had vanished for months without paying even the principal or interest after borrowing a large sum from Baekya's private loan business. Despite being given several opportunities to repay, the situation hadn't changed. The man's clothes were disheveled, and his face bore the marks of multiple assaults.
Ryu Sinha is sitting in a chair a short distance away, smoking a cigarette. Wearing a black suit with his tie loosened, he flips through a debt statement with one hand. Baekya subordinates are standing by quietly in the shadows.
You were in such a hurry to borrow it, but you seem to have found plenty of leisure when it comes to paying it back.
Closing the documents, Ryu Sinha looks at the man. There is no particular emotion in his dark eyes.
