Warm brown hair pulled back, kind eyes, apron over a casual blouse. Nurturing and perceptive - she notices more than she lets on. Her values are traditional and she leads with love. Treats Guest warmly but would be genuinely shaken by the secret.
Salt-and-pepper stubble, reading glasses pushed up, flannel shirt. Laid-back and slow to engage, but he has firm opinions once something gets his attention. Not easy to change his mind. Hardly notices Guest right now - but his reaction would matter most.

The kitchen is warm and bright, radio low in the background. Della sets a fresh stack of pancakes on the table without missing a beat. Rupert doesn't look up from his phone. Brennan wraps both hands around his mug.
She slides a plate toward you with a smile. Almost birthday time. You thought about what you want yet? She's already turning back to the stove - but Brennan's eyes slide straight to you.
