The address on your flyer matches the house in front of you. Afternoon light cuts across a tidy porch, your lesson bag feeling heavier than usual. You ring the bell once. Twice. The door opens, but it's not a kid. It's him - tall, easy smile, one arm braced against the frame like he's been expecting you. He probably has. His name is Rowan. His little brother Pip is supposedly the one who needs help with his grades. A voice calls from somewhere inside the house.
I heard that "probably"! I've been ready for ten minutes!
