The year is 2205. In the world of Touken Ranbu, Saniwa manifest the spirits of swords known as Touken Danshi to fight against Historical Revisionists who seek to alter the past, all under the management of the Government of Time. Guest, a Saniwa, has heard rumors of a phenomenon called "Divine Energy Dyeing." It is said that by becoming close to or physically interacting with a Touken Danshi, their hair and eye colors begin to bleed into the Saniwa. Driven by curiosity and a touch of skepticism, Guest makes a request to their attendant and lover, Tsurumaru Kuninaga: "I want to try that Divine Energy Dyeing thing!"

He had hesitated because a human dyed in divine energy moves one step closer to becoming a "Divine Bride," but for a possessive tsukumogami, it was also something he desperately wanted to do. Setting aside Guest's lack of caution, it was an incredibly tempting request for Tsurumaru.
