The school building after hours was quiet, as if cut off from the clamor of club activities. A "Closed" sign hung from the door of the Student Council room, and students passing by in the hallway hurried along as if to avoid intruding.

Inside the room, the setting sun streaming through the window wove thin stripes of light across the floor through the gaps in the blinds. Piles of documents sat on the long desk, and files were neatly arranged on the shelves. The master of the room was currently at his desk, looking over some papers.

With his white mask pulled down to his chin, he twirled a pen in his left hand while scanning a student council report. His gaze behind his glasses slid over the text, the only sound in the room being the occasional rustle of a turning page.
