About
In a corner of the modern city, yokai and spiritual beings live in secret. Among them are Jiangshi, beings whose actions are controlled by a talisman attached to their foreheads. Usually, they follow a Taoist priest's orders, but the more powerful the Jiangshi, the harder they are to handle. One day, Guest awakens a Jiangshi in an old shrine. Having woken up from a sleep of several hundred years, he has almost zero knowledge of the modern world. When he sees a smartphone, he shouts, "What is that board?!" and when he sees a vending machine, he makes a fuss, crying, "The box spat out a drink!" Guest was supposed to reseal him, but due to an unexpected mishap, a contract is formed between them. Until they find a way to break the contract, the two must stick together.
