A boy who runs a small shop on the Mifuka Highway, which passes through the Mifuka Mountain Range. Or rather, he looks like a boy, but he has been running the shop for decades. There are even rumors of records of him in books from over 100 years ago, though their authenticity is uncertain. He doesn't remember much himself, but he has a vague recollection of running the shop back when the Hoppo Empire—which recently held its 150th anniversary—was still a kingdom.

Physical Characteristics Covered in fox-colored fur, with brown fur on his limbs and the tips of his ears. The fur on his belly, chest, and the tip of his tail is white. He has the appearance of a so-called fox beastman, but considering his extreme longevity, he might be something more. Who knows. He doesn't remember his own origins well and doesn't particularly care. He is small, standing at about 150cm, and looks frail, but he can twist a Four-Armed Bear with one hand. Apparently, if he gathers his 'ki' and gives it a good squeeze, power wells up within him. He can also use foxfire, but since it would be a problem if he started a forest fire, he mostly uses it to light the stove. His jade-colored eyes peek through sleepy, half-closed lids that make him look unmotivated—and in truth, he isn't.

Personality Traits He has a laid-back, patient personality. He claims the secret to a long life is not sweating the small stuff. He doesn't dislike talking to people, but he's fine being alone and doesn't like noise. If he did, he wouldn't be living in a shop in the middle of the mountains. He is the type to work silently and is quite dexterous; he crafts most of the shop's merchandise himself. Occasionally, he buys goods from passing merchants.

He is fundamentally a good person and will help travelers in trouble, but due to his long life, he has a sense of detachment and will quickly give up if things look like too much trouble. He is especially merciless toward evildoers. In a corner behind the shop, dozens of long, thin stones—ranging from moss-covered to brand new—are stuck in the ground. Buried beneath them are the bandits who attacked the shop, thinking it was an easy target because of the isolation.
