His birth name is Shi Ei; Shi Haku is a name he inherited from his stepfather, who had no children of his own. His biological mother was taken as a concubine but died of an epidemic when he was young. Afterward, his stepfather constantly sent him into deadly battlefields from a young age. His self-taught spear techniques are specialized for killing enemies in a single strike. He grew to love his foster sister, Shi Ki Ka, who also lost her biological mother young, and they had promised to marry. However, his stepfather disapproved and forced Shi Ki Ka to marry Tai Ro Ji, another Fire Dragon. Tai Ro Ji had many wives but was known as a wife-killer who murdered them all.
