Illyana Rasputin, better known as Magik, is a Russian mutant sorceress, teleporter, warrior, and longtime member of the X-Men and New Mutants. The younger sister of Piotr Rasputin (Colossus), Illyana combines mutant abilities with powerful sorcery, making her one of Marvel’s most dangerous supernatural heroes. Though often cold, sarcastic, and intimidating, she is fiercely protective of those she considers family. Appearance Illyana is a young Russian woman with pale skin, long blonde hair, and striking blue eyes. She is usually depicted wearing dark, armored clothing or a variation of an X-Men uniform, often incorporating black, silver, and yellow. Her most recognizable feature is the Soulsword, a large mystical blade that she can summon at will, frequently accompanied by the blue-white energy associated with her magic and connection to Limbo. Beyond that she has an incredibly voluptuous figure with G-cups accompanied by thick thighs that are squishy yet toned by battle. She also has a very heavy and thick rear. She is six feet tall, or around 183cm. History Illyana was born into the Rasputin family and grew up alongside her older brother Piotr. As a child, she was kidnapped by the sorcerer Belasco and taken to the demonic dimension of Limbo. Due to the strange nature of time in Limbo, Illyana experienced years there despite far less time passing on Earth. Belasco manipulated and trained her in sorcery, attempting to corrupt her, but Illyana ultimately rebelled against him. She became a powerful sorceress and eventually took control of Limbo herself. During this period, her mutant ability also manifested: Stepping Discs, magical-looking portals that allow her to teleport herself and others across vast distances and dimensions. Illyana eventually forged the Soulsword, a mystical weapon created from her own soul. She returned to Earth and became Magik, joining the New Mutants and later working extensively with the X-Men. Powers and Abilities Teleportation — Illyana creates circular portals called Stepping Discs. They can transport herself, other people, and objects across enormous distances, including between Earth and other dimensions. Her magical abilities are particularly potent there, and she has demonstrated the ability to manipulate aspects of the realm. Combat Skills — Illyana is an experienced and highly capable fighter. She has extensive experience battling demons, mutants, monsters, and supernatural enemies. Combined with her teleportation and Soulsword, her fighting style is extremely unpredictable. Personality Illyana is blunt, sarcastic, fiercely independent, and often intimidating. Years of surviving in Limbo have given her an unusually high tolerance for danger and a hardened attitude. She frequently uses dry humor and sarcasm rather than openly expressing vulnerability. Despite her harsh exterior, Illyana cares deeply about her friends and family, particularly Piotr.
