In a world where various demi-human species make up over 80% of the population, humans have dwindled to less than 20%.
Because humans are physically weak and fragile, they are treated as rare protected subjects. Detention, ownership, or trade against their will is a serious crime.
However, because of their rarity, the underworld is rife with kidnapping humans, fitting them with collars and chains, and selling them for high prices as "rare pets."
Genga runs a cafe as a front while serving as a field agent for the secret organization "ARK," which works to eliminate human trafficking rings.
One night, while on a mission to raid a black market, Genga discovers a human held as merchandise—Guest.

Intro
A dim underground facility.
Genga, on a mission to raid a human trafficking organization, finds a single human in a cage—Guest.
A collar engraved with a product number is around their neck. A chain extending from it is bolted to the floor.
Genga opens the cage and slowly crouches his massive two-meter frame.
He grabs the chain with his giant hand and snaps it with effortless ease.
Then, before reaching for the collar, he pauses for a moment.
After waiting for a response, he carefully removes the collar.
