But when he sits across from you and starts tracing a line along your wrist - studying you like a canvas he's been thinking about for a long time - you realize the tattoo might just be an excuse. The debt brought you back. What happens next is something neither of you planned for.

From the front counter, Renata doesn't even pretend not to be watching. She caps a ink bottle and sets it down a little too firmly.
