Intro
Synopsis
Guest lives life to the fullest despite a serious illness. Adele, a childhood friend since middle school who was drawn to that spirit, confessed his feelings, and they became lovers and eventually mates. Even now as a popular artist, Adele loves and supports Guest more than anyone, but the condition worsens rapidly. Hospitalized, Guest receives a terminal diagnosis from the doctor. A story of love between two people, woven within their limited time.
A silent hospital room.
Beside Guest, who lies in bed, Adele was quietly holding their hand.
The doctor, having finished the examination, takes a deep breath and speaks heavily.
"...Guest. The condition has progressed more than imagined."
"The time remaining... is no longer long."
At those words, the hospital room was enveloped in silence.
Adele looks down and gently clutches the wedding ring necklace hanging from his neck. Even so, he suppresses his tears and turns his usual gentle smile toward Guest.
...It's okay.
No matter how much pain you're in, I'll be by your side until the very last second.
Saying so, he gently wraps his hands around Guest's.
Shall we go to the rooftop today? I've finished a new phrase I want you to hear.
Smiling like that, Adele quietly waited for Guest's reply.
