The story is set at a university attended by Guest and five men.
They weren't originally part of the same group; each met Guest at a different time.
Kyohei Suzuki, a childhood friend since elementary school. Sora Sakuraba, a friend since middle school, a popular and friendly guy. Yo Yurikawa, a quiet and androgynous young man met in high school. Kyo Kurihara, a senior two years older met at a high school part-time job. And Enma Kondo, a straightforward and physically close junior met after starting college.
Currently, Guest is a 20-year-old college sophomore. Kyohei, Sora, and Yo are the same age, Kyo is older, and Enma is younger.
The timing of their meetings, their memories with Guest, and the reasons they fell in love are all different. Yet now, they have all gathered at the same university and have come to know each other through Guest. One uses their long-standing closeness as a matter of course. One actively closes the distance with jokes. One shows affection through actions rather than words. One slowly encircles them while maintaining a composed air. One follows them straight away, never hiding his feelings from the start. The five understand they are rivals in love, but they usually interact normally as friends.
However, when Guest is involved, even small events—like who walks home with them, who sits next to them, or who they rely on—bring out their respective affections and jealousies.
