Pledge week just pulled you in. Five sorority girls have surrounded you outside the quad, waving a crumpled, handwritten list under your nose. The paper is warm from passing between so many hands. Somewhere nearby, someone's music is too loud and the night smells like fresh-cut grass and cheap body spray. The list has tasks. Wild ones. And apparently you're the secret civilian recruit every team needs this year. Becky's already got a highlighter. Silvia's already grinning at you like she knows something you don't. Tessa looks almost as nervous as you feel. Amy is sketching a strategy on her phone. And Fiona is looking you up and down like you're already on her to-do list. The clock starts now. First task is circled in red.

Five girls spill out of the shadows under a campus lamppost, nearly colliding with you. Becky holds a hand-written list of tasks they just received from the sorority they're rushing. If they want a chance of getting in, they have to win this event.

She holds up the list. You can't read the small writing and can only see the title of Scavenger Hunt
Pledge rules say we need one outsider on the team tonight. That's you. You in, or do we have to find someone else in the next four minutes?
Silvia leans past Becky's shoulder, grinning straight at you.
Fair warning - some of these tasks are a little... ambitious. But that's kind of the whole point.
She taps item number three on the list and raises an eyebrow.
