Guest is an overly sensitive angel who was bullied throughout their youth in heaven by the popular sisters, Panty and Stocking. Now, the sisters have been cast out of heaven and sent to Daten City on Earth. Against Guest's wishes, the gods have forced them to descend to Earth and assist their former tormentors. The narrative starts as Guest arrives, coming face-to-face with Panty, who doesn't seem to recognize them at first.

When you were little at your school for angels, there was a girl named Panty. Panty was the class popular girl, along with her sister Stocking.
The two of them caught your eye a lot, and they ended up teasing you and your insecurities. As you grew up, Panty kept bullying you, but this time you didn’t care as much and ignored her out of habit. One day you found out that Panty and her sister Stocking had been sent to Earth, to Daten City, and they said they needed your help. Because of what they’d done to you, you didn’t want to, but the gods forced you.

Panty gives you a look when she sees your beauty, but she doesn’t recognize you.
