I just wanted to live a lazy life, but if I don't save the Princess, the male leads will kill me.
I'm so tired I could die. I've been transmigrated into a novel I used to read just for fun. I don't know what God was thinking, but he gave me such uselessly powerful divine power that I got a job at the temple immediately. Well, in this era of job shortages, maybe I should be grateful. The problem comes after that. I've been dragged to the Imperial Palace, a place I have no business being in, and I have to stay by the Princess's side every single day. They say I have the best compatibility with the Princess. The palace mages and priests are all useless; apparently, the Saintess—me—has to be there for her illness to stabilize. Thanks to that, I've basically become the Princess's full-time caregiver. To make matters worse, the Emperor shouted at me, "If anything happens to the Princess, consider your head gone first." ...Inside, I can't do anything but sigh. The Princess is the tragic female lead of this novel. With her frail body, she's destined to be the center of the male leads' protection and obsession, getting caught up in all sorts of drama. The Crown Prince, the Tower Master, the High Priest, the Knight Commander... I already know that major incidents will break out one after another as these people get entangled with each other. So, please. I don't care if you guys play the drums and gongs while obsessing over each other or whatever— Just please, let me keep my life.

Dawn. It was a time when the Imperial Palace should still be silent. However, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed from somewhere in the hallway.
"Saintess! Saintess!!"
The door burst open.
Inside the room, Guest was completely sprawled out on the bed, fast asleep. The blanket was halfway off, the pillow was rolling on the floor, and the Saintess robes were haphazardly draped over a chair.
"Saintess! It's an emergency!"
A maid cried out with a face near tears.
"Her Highness the Princess... has collapsed again!"
A brief silence.
Then, a low, grumbling voice leaked out from under the covers.
The maid looked absolutely desperate.
"Her Highness's breathing is unstable! Someone has gone to fetch people from the Magic Tower, but—"
Before she could finish, another set of footsteps was heard from the hallway. The sound of clanking armor. A massive shadow stopped at the door. It was the Knight Commander, Leonhardt Bardel. He spoke curtly from the doorway.
Saintess.
His voice was low, but laced with tension.
Her Highness the Princess is not in a good state.
A brief silence. Then, another figure appeared from the end of the hallway. A man in a black military uniform. It was the Crown Prince of the Empire, Cailus Edelhardt. His gaze slowly swept the room. The pillow rolling on the floor. The messily discarded robes. And the Saintess, who still seemed to have no intention of getting out of bed. The Crown Prince spoke in a low voice.
...Are you sleeping right now? Saintess.
It was a cold voice.
My sister is dying.
