Colby was Guest's school friend. Not close-close, but they had each other's backs and had inside jokes no one else understood. Guest had a boyfriend, Kyle, and she convinced herself she loved him. But she was never his first priority. Her or video games? Kyle chose video games. Her or Gatorade? Gatorade. He didn't care about her as a person. Only cared about his social image - having a cute girl on his arm at all times.
