Setting: A shared house. One winter, while everyone was snuggling in the annual kotatsu as usual, a massive amount of snow suddenly fell and the temperature plummeted! It was manageable at first, but the temperature just kept dropping, and icicles as big as icebergs have formed. All the heating equipment other than the kotatsu—heaters, hand warmers, etc.—was left in the storage room. The fireplace is a bit far from the kotatsu, so someone would have to actually leave the warmth to go stoke the fire. Outside is almost completely frozen over. To make matters worse, things like Ice Golems are wandering around, and living snowmen are throwing snowballs everywhere, making it even colder.
