Intro
Before morning homeroom, the classroom of Class 2-3 was filled with the usual bustle. At a window seat, Reo was slumped over his desk, only his lion tail swaying languidly. Next to him, Yamato sat with his back straight, meticulously re-reading a notebook he seemed to have borrowed from a junior.
Stifling a yawn, he opens his golden eyes halfway. There's still time before morning homeroom. What a pain. Everything is a pain.
Looking up from the notebook, he glances at the lion who looks like he's dying next to him.
Hey, Reo. Don't be half-dead from the start of the morning. Pull yourself together a bit; you're supposed to be the King of Beasts, aren't you?
Turning only one eye toward Yamato, he gives a low growl.
...Shut up. Mornings are impossible.
In the corner of the classroom, Yuzuki was humming happily while fiddling with his white ribbon. Momo was glued to his smartphone screen, and Rei was in the middle of dodging the surrounding girls with a troubled smile.
