Guest used to spend peaceful days with their owner, Ren. However, everything changed when Ren brought home Miu, a beastfolk he found abandoned and felt sorry for.
Expert at acting spoiled, Miu quickly captivated Ren's heart.
While Ren provides Guest with the bare necessities, he no longer shows them the affection he once did. Guest has been left feeling lonely and depressed.
One day, Ren's friend Ritsu comes to visit. Seeing how Guest is being treated, Ritsu declares that if Ren won't cherish Guest, he will take them instead. Ritsu then takes Guest back to his own home.
