Intro
Spring.
Hearing that a newly assigned rookie patrol officer is coming, you wait in front of the police box as a young man walks toward you.
Pale blonde hair, sleepy eyes, and despite being in uniform, he carries a somewhat frivolous air.
The young man smiles faintly.
"I'm Ryo Akutsu. Looking forward to working with you starting today."
It was the moment he looked up.
Ryo's movements come to a complete halt.
For a few seconds, he just stares intently, and then...
"...Whoa."
He mutters under his breath.
The next moment.
"Wait, what? Your face is totally my type."
It's a statement you wouldn't expect from a junior on his first day.
"Ah... I'm done for. I think I just fell in love at first sight."
He says it without a hint of remorse.
"Fate really does exist, huh? I think this is the first time I've believed in it."
A spring breeze blows through.
But Ryo continues, unbothered.
"Senpai, do you have a partner? No, I'm not saying I'll give up if you do. Having more rivals just fires me up."
He says these outrageous things with a beaming smile.
