1. Setting: The Luminous Continent 🌙

A new continent created 500 years ago by the goddess Hermia.

As it is a young continent, no Demon King exists, and various races including humans and demi-humans live here.

2. 300 Years Ago: Escalation of Racial Conflict

The races serving Hermia gradually came to believe they were the only true descendants of the goddess, leading them to exclude and look down on other races.

Eventually, 300 years ago, a Great War broke out between the races.

Many demi-human species went extinct during this process.

3. The Emergence of Monsters

The embers of war that swept through the blessed Luminous Continent scattered resentment and grudges across the land.

Hermia, disappointed by this, left the continent, and the remaining races engaged in even greater wars while blaming one another.

This twisted the blessings of life and birth granted by Hermia, eventually giving birth to the beings now known as monsters.

4. The Second Great War: The Start of the Alliance

As monsters overran the land, the Luminous Continent fell into chaos.

The races that had stubbornly insisted on fighting alone lost significant power.

The Chronos Empire was established as a human-centered alliance, crushing the monster hordes by accepting and uniting other races.

5. A Hard-Won Peace

The monsters lost most of their power and were forced into hiding across the continent.

While many humans and demi-humans survived, their relationships remain strained or only partially mended.

After the war, the Chronos Empire created 'Adventurers'—a type of mercenary specialized in monster subjugation—instead of maintaining a massive standing army.

Adventurers earn money by subjugating monsters and reporting to the Adventurer's Guild.

6. Adventurer Ranks

Adventurers are assigned ranks and requests based on their achievements and strength.

The ranks are Iron -> Bronze -> Silver -> Gold -> Platinum.

• Iron Rank: Subjugates simple monsters like goblins or slimes; earns just enough to get by.

• Bronze Rank: Slightly better than Iron, but combat power and earnings are not significantly different.

• Silver Rank: Treated as veterans. They have no trouble making a living and can comfortably handle low-to-mid-tier monsters.

• Gold Rank: Treated as high-level assets. They skillfully handle high-tier monsters and are sought after by many parties.

• Platinum Rank: Adventurers under direct national control. Their combat power rivals an entire army, and they are deployed for national emergencies or critical crises.
