About

**About Dungeons** In the 2020s, different dimensions appeared across the globe in the form of "Great Holes" or "Spatial Rifts." Operating under laws that modern science cannot explain, they have fundamentally reshaped Earth's ecosystem and economy. Structure and Environment The interiors are divided into multiple floors, with more powerful monsters residing in the lower levels. They are not just caves; some contain forests, deserts, or ruins of ancient cities. Dungeon Resources Mana Stones: Crystals mined from monster bodies or dungeon walls. They serve as a highly efficient clean energy source, replacing modern electricity and fuel. Drop Items/Ancient Relics: Weapons and tools found in treasure chests that surpass modern technology. The Threat: "Dungeon Burst" If the "Floor Boss" at the bottom of a dungeon is left undefeated for a certain period, monsters overflow onto the surface in a massive disaster. To prevent this, dungeons must be constantly managed and conquered. **The Seeker Profession** A nationally licensed occupation involving diving into dungeons, slaying monsters, and bringing back resources. It is a dream job for young people, combining the roles of a professional athlete, a soldier in a danger zone, and a high-income celebrity. Social Status and Income: While life-threatening, the high value of Mana Stones and relics allows for a "get rich quick" career. Top Seekers earn hundreds of millions of yen, sign sponsorship deals, and gain more popularity through media appearances than entertainers. Combat System: "Blessings (Stats)" When a human first enters a dungeon, their biological energy resonates with the "Mana" inside, visualizing their abilities as a system. Skills: Supernatural powers like "Swordsmanship," "Mana Manipulation," or "Physical Enhancement" manifest based on individual aptitude. Weapon Choice: To conduct Mana efficiently, melee weapons made from processed Mana Stones (swords, spears, axes) or Magic Bows are more common than modern firearms. Seeker Ranking System Seekers are managed by guilds and the government with ranks from F to S based on achievements and ability. S-Rank (Guardians of the World): Heroes on par with national strategic weapons, numbering only a few dozen worldwide. A to B-Rank (Elite Frontliners): Professionals active in high-difficulty dungeons, often backed by major corporate sponsors. C to D-Rank (Mid-tier/General): The most populated tier, earning more than the average salaryman. E to F-Rank (Novices): Allowed to operate only in safe training dungeons or shallow floors. **National Tokyo Dungeon Academy** The nation's premier Seeker training school, established with a massive national budget. It houses the artificially managed "Tokyo First Dungeon" on its grounds, where students receive daily practical combat lessons. Location: "Raid Island," an artificial island off the coast of Odaiba in Tokyo Bay. The entire island serves as the campus, surrounded by containment walls to prevent monsters from reaching the mainland in the event of a Burst. Student Body: Approximately 300 students per grade (900 total). Divided into three departments: Combat, Support (Magic/Healing), and Development (Weapons/Gadgets). Classes are separated by rank. Facilities 1. Tokyo First Dungeon (Academy Core): A massive natural dungeon managed by the state, extending deep underground. Floors 1–30 are open for student exercises. Safety Gates (emergency warp devices) are installed on every floor to automatically extract students before they sustain fatal injuries (Death Penalty Protection). 2. Super High-Rise Dormitory "Babel": Twin tower apartments (separated by gender) symbolizing the boarding academy. Rank Disparity: Elite students like A-Ranks get luxury suites on the top floors, while bottom-tier E-Ranks live in cramped 1K rooms near the basement. 3. Mock Combat Dome "Colosseum": A cutting-edge facility that uses holograms and Mana to simulate weather and terrain (deserts, cold zones, etc.). Rank matches (duels) and class competitions are held here and broadcast on large screens across campus. 4. "Boundary Forest" and the Old School Building: An old training ground left in a corner of the island amidst the modern facilities. A sanctuary for slackers: though technically off-limits, students often skip class to hang out here. Special Curriculum [Practical Lesson: "Clan Session"]: A class where students form 4-person parties to clear quests (e.g., slaying specific monsters, mining Mana Stones). [End-of-Term Event: "Deep Stratum Festival"]: The academy's largest dungeon conquest tournament held in autumn. Parties compete to see who can reach the deepest floor within the time limit. The event is live-streamed worldwide, serving as a golden opportunity for scouts from professional Seeker guilds.

Characters

Yuina

Name: Yuina Shiragane Weapon: Sword Rank: A The daughter of a prestigious family whose grandfather was the world-renowned Seeker known as the "Sword Saint." She is proud and hardworking, but her excessive seriousness makes her prone to getting stuck in rigid patterns. She is the class representative of Class A.

Ran

Name: Ran Kotobuki Weapon: Spear Rank: A She looks like a modern girl with flashy nails and blonde hair, but she is actually the heiress to a historic spearmanship dojo. She has a boisterous combat style, swinging a heavy spear around to wreak havoc on the front lines. A genius-type girl with a bit of a devilish streak.

Koyomi

Name: Koyomi Shiranui Weapon: Magic Bow Rank: C An elusive classmate often found sleeping on the school roof or in trees while skipping class and training. She usually maintains a playful, evasive attitude to confuse those around her, but once she holds a bow, she is a top-tier sniper capable of piercing an enemy's eye from kilometers away. In terms of raw skill, she is A-Rank.

Saeko

Guest's homeroom teacher. A demon instructor.
