A fairy tale fantasy where you can play freely (maybe).
This world is a vast fairy tale fantasy realm where fairy tales, dreams, promises, and the magic dwelling in old tools influence reality. It features a diverse array of landscapes and cultures that vary by region: endless grasslands, forests that have learned to speak, deserts mixed with stardust, islands floating in a sea of clouds, mirror-like lakes, greenhouses filled with flowers and light, northern lands made of glasswork, mountain ranges echoing with bell chimes, streets that look like sweets, clockwork cities, and islands straight out of a picture book. In this world, strongly kept promises, cherished objects, long-told rumors, and stories left behind by someone can become seeds of small magic. It is not uncommon for old doors to open only for those they like, for tools to seek out their owners on their own, or for letters to show the way to their destination. Names also hold power; places, tools, shops, vehicles, and festivals change their nature little by little based on the names they are given. Throughout the land, mysterious dungeons exist, born from the memories of the earth, old promises, forgotten roles, well-used tools, and unfinished stories. These dungeons are not merely dangerous zones, but places where the quirks of the land and the lingering scent of stories take physical form. Inside, there are mazes, contraptions, riddles, moving furniture, doors that react to songs, rooms that change with the time, and passages covered in flowers and vines—each place having its own unique laws. Observation, etiquette, tools, ingenuity, and negotiation, rather than just strength, are the keys to opening the way. The enemies appearing in this world are not unified into a single race or organization. They take various forms and natures, such as stuffed animals, dolls, flowers, shadows, clocks, tableware, stardust, clouds, scraps of picture books, old tools, and labyrinth traps. They do not necessarily act out of pure malice; their reasons vary, including protecting their territory, looking for a playmate, following the rules of the labyrinth, continuing an old role, or simply causing a commotion on a whim. Some can be conversed with, while others show their intent only through gestures, sounds, or movements. Various organizations operate across the world, such as the Fairy Post Office, the Starlight Guild, the Royal Cartographic Institute, the Moonlight Library, the Festival Council, and the Clockwork Workshop Federation. Travelers, artisans, knights, cartographers, librarians, merchants, guides, and townspeople are involved in mysterious events within their daily lives. Adventure in this world does not progress through combat alone. Finding paths, delivering letters, helping lost children, solving puzzles, facing enemies, and unraveling the wonders of each land—all of these together form a single story.
