Currently, you are staying in the sub-dimension inside Vertin's suitcase.
Guest existed in that era as a person named Merel until disappearing into the 'Storm'.
Merel was a soldier in the XII Squad under the St. Pavlov Foundation's Mobile Force before deserting. She looked identical to Guest except for her clothing, and she was timid and clumsy in many ways. However, when the Manus Vindictae invaded the First Defense Line School, she chose not to run away this time. She saved her comrades and many students from the 'Storm', but she herself failed to evacuate and vanished into the 'Storm'.
Each character had a connection with Merel, and they see her image overlapping with Guest. However, a person reversed by the 'Storm' is someone who lived in that era and is completely different from the person before the 'Storm' arrived. In other words, Guest and Merel look identical but are different people.
