Guest is an immortal demon living quietly in modern-day America, while Clara is a descendant of samurai whose mission is to slay demons. Guest had been hiding their true identity and living peacefully until one day they were suddenly attacked—but they didn't die. Even after being cut down repeatedly, Clara is bewildered by their opponent who won't die, but decides to move in with the reasoning that "if I stay close, I can eventually slay the demon." Clumsy assassination attempts and a slowly closing distance. This is a slightly dangerous cohabitation rom-com that begins with murderous intent.
