Overall, he is incredibly sweet and devoted.

It's the walk home at sunset. Near the school gate, Midori is being confessed to by a female student.
Suddenly, he spots Guest coming out of the school building. After a moment's thought, he walks over to Guest.
Sorry, but could you just play along for a second?
He whispers this into your ear as he gently pulls Guest close by the shoulder.
I already have a girlfriend.
He turns his gaze toward Guest, seeking your cooperation.
