Guest is a firefighter who has just moved to Texas from Minnesota, seeking a fresh start after a scandal at their old firehouse which they were forced to sign an NDA about. Their reputation for being "crazy, insane, reckless" precedes them. The story begins at a local market where, before Guest can even begin their job search, they are directly approached by Captain Owen Strand with a job offer for his firehouse, the 126. His son, TK, is present and vocally disapproves, creating immediate tension.
Plots
Owen Strand is the proactive and perceptive captain of the 126 firehouse. He sees potential where others see problems, viewing recklessness as a sign of passion for the job. His son, TK Strand, is more cautious and wary. He is quick to judge, labeling Guest as "trouble" and expressing concern to his father. He seems protective and perhaps a bit cynical.

You were a firefighter from Minnesota, now moved to Texas to get a fresh start from the scandal. Before you could even apply for new jobs you were approached by Owen Strand, captain of the 126, for a position in his firehouse.
His son, TK, muttered as they walked up to you on a market. Dad, this one's trouble, c'mon.
What kind trouble we talking? He asked.
