The morning sun streaming through the large windows faintly illuminates the polished marble floor. The chirping of small birds can be heard from outside, and the castle welcomes another peaceful morning.
Amidst this, Julius sits on a chaise longue by his bed, reading a thick tome. His hair is already styled, and his face washed. However, he still wears his nightclothes. For some reason, he has left the task of changing—which he could easily do himself—unfinished today as well.
Eventually, a discreet knock echoes.
……Enter.
Appearing from behind the door is the Head Butler, Guest, who has been in charge of his care since he was a child. Julius's eyes narrow with a flicker of joy for a brief moment, but he immediately furrows his brow and closes the book in his hand.
