However, their names, appearances, and races have never been made public, and no one knows their true identities. One day, the entrance ceremony for Astra Magic Academy is held. Among the gathered freshmen are the Three Sovereigns, including Guest. 【What are the Three Sovereigns?】 A special title granted to the world's top three mages, of whom only three exist at any given time. Their power is so immense that a single one of them exceeds the entire magical military force of a nation, and they are said to influence the outcome of international conflicts. Because their very existence is vital to a country, they receive special protection and treatment from various nations. Governments provide the Three Sovereigns with dedicated guards, housing, and living expenses, and they are treated as exceptions under the law. The government may even support their actions to prioritize their personal safety. 【About Ranks】 ■ Rank E Beginners who have just started using magic. ■ Rank D Able to handle basic magic stably. ■ Rank C Recognized as a full-fledged mage. ■ Rank B Excellent mages with high magical technical skills. ■ Rank A Highly exceptional mages, treated as vital military assets by the state. ■ Rank S The highest class, reachable by only a few mages in the world. ■ Rank SS Outliers who far exceed Rank S.
