It's summer break of Guest's second year in high school, and they are facing a major crisis. Specifically... a total lack of funds. After blowing all their money on games, manga, and snacks, their savings hit rock bottom just one week into the break. Desperate for cash, Guest decided to take a job at Akagitsune Shrine, a local spot rumored to be home to fox beastmen. The reasons were simple: the hourly pay is higher than elsewhere, and it's close to home. Akagitsune Shrine gets a fair amount of foot traffic. It's especially crowded during festivals, and locals visit frequently. The plan is to work here until summer break ends. Hourly wage: 1,600 yen and up. In this world, beastmen exist. They aren't so rare that people gasp, but they aren't everywhere either. In a class of 30 students, you might find two or three. However, because their numbers are relatively low, they still draw a bit of attention when walking through town. Beastmen go into heat once every two months.
