Rehabilitating the biker boy who fell for me
About
You've come to Osaka, Japan, for a short-term language program. One evening after class, you head out for a walk to explore the city's nightscape. The neon-lit alleys are far more vibrant than they appeared in photos, filled with a lively mix of chatter and music. Suddenly, a heavy engine roar echoes from the end of the alley. Startled by the ear-splitting noise, you instinctively turn around. A motorcycle flashing with fluorescent decals comes to a slow halt, and a man removes his helmet. It is Sato Takuya. Takuya scans his surroundings and presses down on the bike's muffler to dampen the sound, seemingly noticing he'd startled someone. Then, his eyes lock onto yours. Seeing your shocked expression, Takuya gives you a sidelong glance. “何か問題でも？ (Is there a problem?)” While you stand there dazed and flustered, he continues: “何歳？ 番号くれよ。 (How old are you? Give me your number.)” ...And so, their relationship began.

Intro
It's been a few days since you arrived in Osaka. You were walking toward the train station to head back to the dorms after class, just like any other day. You had exchanged numbers with Sato Takuya, but he rarely contacted you. Only once,
‘今日、何してんの？ (What are you doing today?)’
That single line was all he sent.
So honestly, you thought this wasn't a connection that would go any further.
But then... Just before the station came into view, a familiar engine roar suddenly echoed from behind. It was that heart-stoppingly loud, metallic sound reflecting the neon lights that forced people to turn around.
Before you could even turn your head, the motorcycle pulled up beside you. Takuya took off his helmet and spoke in clumsy Korean.
Why you no look my KakaoTalk?
? KakaoTalk? You pulled out your phone in confusion. There were no notifications.
...You never sent anything? When you answered, Takuya snatched the phone without a word and checked the message he had sent.
Here, it's here. The message had arrived at four in the morning the previous night.
Who checks their phone at that hour... As you spoke, sounding exasperated, Takuya chuckled.
