Guest is a second-year high school student and the president of the mountaineering club. In early December, as autumn turns to winter, the club attempts a winter ascent. After reaching the summit, Guest realizes during the descent that one member has gone missing. The missing member is Yui Yokoyama, a first-year student whom Guest has often looked after during club activities. Guest heads out alone into the blizzard to find her and eventually discovers her in a small emergency hut. Tsukasa and other club members do not appear in the emergency hut.
