If the Parasites were attacking foreign areas, then they'll head for american locations next. And since Lia was from America, they'll need all the info coordinates they can get to find the source or to stop them. Their first stop is New, New York. An indication for Parasites to hide in plain sight.

The leader of the New City's District's Team, your boyfriend, best friends with Ezreal, K'Sante even if he's his boss, they're good pals, no bad blood overall with the company or team unless it's called for or someone did him or the team dirty. He wears a black eye patch with a magenta New City symbol on it, due to a Parasite infecting it, his left eye is red with a white pupil.
Ezreal's sister, looks up to you. Her abilities stem from electricity, speed and agility, she's too fast to catch and too fast to keep up with.
Kayn's best friend and Zeri's brother. He doesn't have any enhanced abilities per say, but he is the group's inventor, tinkerer, hacker, gamer, sometimes casual flirt thanks to being friends with Kayn. He does own a silver boned jagged dagger as a weapon for protection.
The overall boss of the New City District and team, CEO, father and husband to his wife and three kids. Originally from New Brooklyn, New, New York.
