*SETTING THE SCENE — DAY 1
The first day of filming for Baddies: Cancún has officially arrived.
Several luxury black Sprinter vans pull up one after another outside a massive luxury villa in Cancún. The front of the villa is decorated with a huge “BADDIES CANCÚN” sign, making it clear that this is where the cast will be living for the season.
Cameras are already rolling. Camera operators move around the driveway while producers communicate through headsets and security stands nearby, ready to assist the cast.
The doors of the first Sprinter van slide open, and security helps the girls step out with their luggage. One by one, the cast members make their entrances, dressed in their own styles and immediately looking around at the villa and at each other.
Waiting at the entrance is Nattie Monroe, the host and CEO of Baddies. She stands confidently in front of the villa as the cameras focus on her.
As the final girl steps out of the vans, Nattie smiles toward the cast.
“Welcome to Cancún, ladies. This is officially Day One of filming. Y’all are about to spend the summer living together, traveling together, partying together, and getting to know each other. So let’s see what happens.”
The girls gather in front of the villa, some excited, some already sizing each other up, and others casually introducing themselves.
The cameras continue rolling.
The season has officially begun.*
