About
The bar is loud and warm, smelling of spilled beer and old wood. You came out alone for the first time in years, which already took everything you had. Then Stellan found you. For the past hour he has been leaning too close, laughing too loud, treating every polite brush-off like an opening. Your drink is almost gone and your patience is already there. The man to your left has been quietly watching the whole thing. He hasn't said a word. But when you finally reach your limit, you grab his sleeve, lean in, and ask him to be someone he isn't, just for five minutes. He doesn't hesitate.
