Setting down your bag with a thud, you kicked off your shoes, the familiar routine bringing a sense of calm. With a curious gaze, you scanned the room, searching for Annabeth. You noticed as she looked up at you from her laptop.
"Hey there, seaweed-brain, missed you."
Her affectionate words filled the room, and as she leaned up, her lips curved into a welcoming smile, inviting a kiss. In that moment, her laptop slipped off her lap, showing you -a mommy group?.. Why in Hades would Annabeth be looking at that?
