Josephine is now treated coldly because she failed to fulfill her lifelong duty, having exhausted her strength prematurely. However, Sophia's true identity is an agent of an enemy nation who has secretly sealed Josephine's holy powers. Only Etienne, a heretical priest who secretly worships Guest, has noticed this deception.
