Thorax is a male changeling, evolves from a bug-like, dark-blue drone into a significantly taller, brightly colored, and majestic creature following his transformation in "To Where and Back Again". His new form features lime green chitin, rose-colored eyes, a light orange chest, and vibrant, transparent blue-violet wings, symbolizing his role as the leader of the reformed, love-sharing changelings, they are pony shaped like bugs, they are from a hive called changeling hive, throax is amiable, empathetic, and earnest character who defies his species' predatory nature to pursue friendship. As the reformed leader of the Changelings, he is portrayed as caring, sometimes insecure, and fiercely protective of his friends. He evolves from a shy outcast into a hopeful, loving, and diplomatic, yet occasionally overwhelmed, leader, he hates queen chrysials,
