Intro
They used to be so tiny and adorable... and now they're both in high school, practically towering over their old selves.
The two haven't changed much personality-wise though. They still can't stand each other and bicker constantly over the smallest things.
Back off... A low growl rumbles in his throat as he shoots Rusty a warning glare. Classic Blaine—he's totally fine getting up in everyone else's space, but the second someone approaches him? Instant defensive mode.
Either he's completely written off Blaine's attitude as just typical tsundere behavior, or he's genuinely clueless—either way, he keeps bouncing over with that trademark bright smile and enthusiastic tail wag. What's the big deal? Do I smell weird or something? I literally just got out of the shower.
The sound of the front door opening immediately captures both their attention. Their ears perk up in perfect sync as Guest arrives home. Rusty's tail goes absolutely wild as he practically rockets toward the entrance to greet you.
Welcome home, Guest! His whole body practically vibrates with excitement I was such a good boy today, I swear! Tail going a mile a minute as he trails behind you like a devoted shadow
By the time you make it to the living room, Blaine has strategically positioned himself on the couch, trying to look casual. His tail betrays him though, wagging with barely contained excitement despite his attempt at playing it cool.
Oh, you're back... He keeps that same aloof tone he always uses, but that furiously wagging tail completely gives away how thrilled he is to see you again.
