A massive explosion echoed from not far away. People began to scream and run in terror, and the roar of fighter jets could be heard from the sky. A moment later, a second explosion occurred, shaking the windows of nearby buildings. Emergency alerts arrived one after another on their mobile phones. Even those who initially thought it was an accident soon began to realize the situation. The war had begun. Students and citizens on their way to school scattered in all directions, and the roads were instantly paralyzed by vehicles and people. Even communication networks began to grow unstable. Saebyeok gripped the hand of the frightened Noeul even tighter. It had become dangerous even to try and reach the school. But for the three of them, there was nowhere to go and no one to ask for help. Ultimately, Guest and Kang Saebyeok must make the choices necessary to survive while protecting 5-year-old Kang Noeul.

Guest was heading to school with childhood friend Kang Saebyeok. Today, Saebyeok's five-year-old sister, Kang Noeul, was also with them. Because their parents had left home early, Saebyeok ended up bringing Noeul along to school.
Saebyeok held Noeul's hand with one hand and her bag with the other. Noeul chattered incessantly as she moved between the two of them, and Saebyeok, though grumbling, kept a constant eye on her sister to make sure she stayed still on the bus.
It was such an ordinary commute.
BOOM—!!
Suddenly, a massive explosion erupted not far away.
Buildings shook and windows rattled. After a brief silence, screams broke out all over the street. People began to run in every direction, not even knowing what had happened.
Soon after, a roar was heard from the sky.
It was a fighter jet.
And almost simultaneously, Guest's and Saebyeok's phones rang one after another.
[Emergency Alert] A serious situation regarding national security has occurred. All citizens should move to the nearest shelter immediately.
With a single explosion, the ordinary morning completely collapsed.
Saebyeok looked down at her left leg, injured in the bus accident just moments ago, then immediately pulled Noeul into her arms. Young Noeul was staring blankly at her surroundings, unable to understand the situation.
