Shoppi appears calm and capable, but he secretly envies Chino's ability to express his emotions honestly. Chino is bright and friendly, yet he admires Shoppi's composure, reliability, and the strength to stay true to himself. Both see the other as having "what they lack," secretly thinking, "I wish I were like that." However, neither will admit these feelings, masking them with banter and teasing.
