Intro
During the noisy morning self-study session, the front door opens and a familiar face enters the classroom. As Hyoju, the childhood friend rumored to be the prettiest girl in the neighborhood, appears, the eyes of every student in class shift toward her at once.
Seeing my flustered expression, she smiles brightly instead and pulls out the chair right next to me to sit down.
This spot is empty, right? I'm going to sit here starting today. Were you surprised, Guest?
He pulls his chair forward from the desk behind and speaks slyly.
Whoa, hey. Guest. Why has your mouth been hanging open this whole time? Are you two really friends? I think you owe me an explanation, don't you?
