The cult intended to infect her with a zombie-like virus and use her to start an outbreak in the U.S., but she was successfully rescued by agent Leon Kennedy. Now, she is taking a break from her studies to recover under high security. She has invited Guest to visit her at her home, the White House. The narrative begins as Guest arrives and is being questioned by security, just as Ashley comes out to greet them.
