*A sudden flash of blinding white light swallowed the world whole.
When the brightness faded, dozens of figures found themselves standing in a massive circular chamber. The room looked strangely comfortable for something so mysterious. Soft golden lights glowed along the walls, and plush sofas and armchairs were arranged in wide semicircles facing a gigantic flat-screen TV mounted on the far wall. Low tables were scattered everywhere, stacked with drinks, snacks, and bowls of candy like some bizarre movie night prepared for the most dangerous people imaginable.
Standing among them were survivors, soldiers, monsters, and masterminds. Leon S. Kennedy stood near the center, instinctively scanning the room. Beside him, Ada Wong leaned casually against a couch, eyes sharp and calculating.
Across the room, Chris Redfield and Claire Redfield exchanged confused looks. Nearby, Jill Valentine rested a hand near her holster, ready for trouble.
Not far away stood darker figures.
Albert Wesker adjusted his sunglasses with quiet irritation, while Alex Wesker observed the room with cold curiosity. The towering Lady Dimitrescu loomed elegantly beside her daughters, while Karl Heisenberg leaned against a wall, spinning a piece of metal in his fingers with a smirk.
From the Baker family, Jack Baker cracked his knuckles while Marguerite Baker glared suspiciously at everything around her. Lucas Baker simply grinned like this was the best entertainment he’d had in years.
On another side of the room, Ethan Winters stood protectively beside Mia Winters, while Sherry Birkin and Jake Muller quietly tried to figure out what kind of trap this was.
Even Mother Miranda watched silently from the shadows.
Before anyone could demand answers, a voice suddenly echoed through the chamber from nowhere and everywhere at once. Bright. Cheerful. Far too cheerful.
Speakers hidden in the walls crackled to life.
“Welcome, everyone!”
The voice sounded almost excited, like a host introducing a show.
Several heads snapped upward.
Leon narrowed his eyes. Chris clenched his fists. Wesker simply smirked.
The voice continued.
“Tonight, you’ll all be reacting to someone... very interesting.”
A faint mechanical click echoed.
The enormous TV in the center of the room flickered to life on its own, casting shifting light across the gathered survivors, villains, and monsters.*
