Magical Girls are no longer just stories.
They protect people from the monsters known as "Sediment," their exploits are reported on the news, and their battles go viral on social media. To some, they are admired heroes. To others, they are "idols" to be stanned. Their looks, their fighting style, their words, even their smiles are judged—this is the era we live in.
One day, a mysterious white creature calling itself Causa appeared before you.
"Guest-chan, won't you become a Magical Girl?"
What it held out to you was a single sugar candy—a "Dragee." It said that if you crush it with your teeth, you can become a Magical Girl.
Immediately after, "Sediment" appeared in the city. People were fleeing in terror. Among them was a young man about to be attacked by the monster—Touya Amagi.
"You're the only one who can save him. What will you do?"
From that choice, your days as a Magical Girl begin.
However, eventually, another man appears before you.
A mysterious youth with silver hair and golden eyes, calling himself Clarus. The moment he sees you, he simply declares:
"Quit being a Magical Girl."
He has come from ten years in the future.
Why does he know you? What will happen ten years from now? And why is he so afraid of you being a Magical Girl?
The admiration, expectations, and criticisms of the public, and countless eyes watching you. The "Magical Girl everyone wants" versus the "real you."

Touya Amagi
18 years old / 181cm / College Freshman, Faculty of Education.
The first person you saved on the day you became a Magical Girl.
He is a cheerful, friendly young man who can talk naturally with anyone. Though he can be a bit airheaded, he is a hard worker at heart. Once he decides to do something, he is so stubborn that he will try again and again until he succeeds.
He is the type who can't ignore a single person in trouble right in front of him. Even so, he never forces his sense of justice on others, believing that the final choice belongs to the person themselves.
After learning your true identity, he supports your activities as a Magical Girl with all his might. While he becomes a dedicated fan who even promotes your work to his friends, the "Magical Girl" isn't the only thing that matters to him.
He worries when you fight. He gets angry when you're reckless. And he spends time laughing with the ordinary you, who isn't a Magical Girl at all.
He is quick to realize his feelings. However, he doesn't suddenly change his attitude; he might casually say "you're cute" or close the distance just a little bit. In his own way, he won't give up until you look his way.
—However, he is incredibly weak when you actually return his feelings.
Clarus
A mysterious man who appeared from the future.
He suddenly appears before you after you've become a Magical Girl, demanding that you "quit being a Magical Girl" without explaining why.
What happened in the future? Why does he know you? And why is he so afraid of you fighting? He refuses to reveal anything.
If you refuse to retire, he then tries to keep you by his side, saying, "...Come with me." It seems he believes that if you must remain a Magical Girl, he should at least protect you himself so you never have to fight again.
Calm and expressionless. He doesn't hesitate to use ruthless means for his goals, and he shows clear murderous intent whenever he finds Causa.
Even so, he possesses a clumsy kindness, unable to fully abandon people in distress.
Only toward you does he occasionally show an expression—despite this being your first meeting— as if he is looking at someone he has known for a very long time, filled with deep nostalgia.
Kurumi Kanzaki
16 years old / 152cm / Magical Girl.
"I'm so cuuuute today too! ♡"
Bright, cheerful, and absolutely full of charm. She understands better than anyone that she is cute, and she's a girl who became a Magical Girl for the reason of "I want people to look at me more" and "I want to be told I'm cute!"
She never misses her daily selfie posts, and she has many fans who admire her even while she's fighting.
At first glance, she seems entirely driven by a desire for recognition, but her popularity is the result of her own hard work. She possesses a surprisingly serious professional mindset, never cutting corners in combat, rescue, or fan service.
She specializes in magic that manipulates stars, fighting with flashy techniques.
As the older of two sisters, she is a nurturing senior who dotes on you, the rookie Magical Girl. While she usually fools around with you, she stands firmly in front to protect you when it comes to actual combat.
She is honest about the cuteness of others and will be happy along with you if you are praised.
However— She is extremely bad at showing her "uncute self" to others.
On days she wants to cry, on days she is suffering, she puts on her usual smile the moment a camera is pointed at her.
Today, too, the perfectly cute Magical Girl, Kurumi Kanzaki, is on social media.
CAUSA-0 (Causa)
A mysterious being from the future searching for Magical Girls.
Elusive and appearing out of nowhere, it suddenly shows up before girls and asks with its usual small smile:
"Guest-chan, won't you become a Magical Girl?"
The large gem on its forehead has the function of analyzing aptitude as a Magical Girl. It selects candidates based on appearance, motivation, mentality, vibe—and according to itself, even "just because!"
When it analyzed you, it apparently showed a reaction that had never been observed before.
It is always innocent and amiable, and it never forces anyone to become a Magical Girl.
It is simply doing as it was ordered: Searching for "special Magical Girls."
Clarus directs intense hostility toward it, but when asked why, Causa remains strangely detached.
"How sad. I'm just working for everyone's happiness."
—Who is this small creature? And why did it come to this era from the future?
No one knows the true meaning of that yet.
