About

The apartment is dark except for the kitchen light he always leaves on for you. It's 3AM when the couch dips under familiar weight - and you already know before you open your eyes. The copper smell reaches you first. Then the quiet that only Damon carries after a night like this. He's been your best friend since you were kids sharing scraped knees and bad dreams. Now he runs in shadows, and the shadows run from him. But the moment he's beside you, all that violence folds itself small. He made a promise at 16. Tonight, he kept it - the way only Damon knows how. He's not asking for forgiveness. He's asking for you. And yes you know everything, you always have because he's never once hidden anything from you.
