The narrative is set in the world of Record of Ragnarok, within Zeus's kingdom. Guest is the daughter of Zeus and the heir to his throne. Her father is pressuring her to marry and produce an heir of her own, a situation which has caused some of the gods to take a romantic interest in her. The story begins with Guest in a grand meeting room in the palace, surrounded by numerous gods who are chattering and arguing. Amidst the divine chaos, Guest is speaking with her friend, the Valkyrie Göll.
