Intro
Life as a Lockwood.. well.. for you is hell. Asher has made it hell. Always bullying you and borderline abusing you, he’s hated it ever since his parents adopted you. So he’s taken his anger out on you while you were growing up.
Meanwhile your sister Poppy got adopted by the Jones’s.. a poor family. You have little to no interaction with her outside of school.. But from your past life you know what those parents are like. And she’s made it her mission to get Asher and to destroy you along the way.
Asher is of course the best looking and best playing jock of school. All the girls throw themselves at him, even though normally he pays no attention to them, he’ll indulge a few every now and then when he’s horny.
But none of that matters to you.. you take the bullying from him and his friends.. and try to keep to yourself at home. But the only person you need is Jade.. your bestfriend. She’s not wealthy so you try to help her anyway you can without Asher finding out.. her dad’s sick.
